FROM SAND TO SHAPE

The production process begins with the reception of the raw materials, and glass cullet, in the following proportions:

The raw materials are melted in the furnaces at 1400ºC, and then pass on to the moulding phase where two processes are used: blowing and pressing.

In the blowing process the gob of glass is forced into the mould by compressed air.
In the pressing process, the gob of glass is pressed between the punch and the mould.
