FROM SAND TO SHAPE The production process begins with the reception of the raw materials, and glass cullet, in the following proportions:
The raw materials are melted in the furnaces at 1400ºC, and then pass on to the moulding phase where two processes are used: blowing and pressing.
In the blowing process the gob of glass is forced into the mould by compressed air.
